A woman named Kelly Jean said “Teaching people how to regulate their emotions is crime prevention. It's addiction prevention. It's suicide prevention. It's generational healing.

Because when we learn to handle our emotions and teach others to do the same, we stop showing up as adults who explode, implode, or shut down at the first sign of discomfort. It's the foundation of a world where people can disagree without dehumanizing each other, where accountability isn't seen as an attack, and where conflict doesn't always mean violence.

If we really want a better world to live in, we should lean into emotional education.”

And that’s it. That’s the heart of my work.

I believe deeply in emotional education, in giving people the tools to understand themselves, regulate their emotions, and move through life with greater awareness and compassion.

During college, I taught children social and emotional learning through my time with the Joint Education Project, and that experience stayed with me. It showed me just how powerful it is when people are given the space and skills to understand themselves and their emotions early in life.

Today, as a certified sound healer and breathwork facilitator, grounded in my training and my Master of Science in Applied Psychology; where I’ve studied burnout, psychological safety, team building, and supportive workplace and organizational culture – I guide individuals, groups, and organizations back into alignment. To date, I have led 65+ sound healing and breathwork sessions, working in the nonprofit sector, with formerly incarcerated individuals, and those seeking greater alignment.

I hope to continue creating those kinds of spaces for both children and adults, working closely with individuals and nonprofit organizations to support emotional well-being, healing, and personal growth.

It has been my pleasure creating space for individuals to reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their peace, and work toward rebuilding the self-trust that creates real transformation — because when you learn to feel safe within yourself, you don’t just heal, you expand.

And from that place, anything becomes possible.

Thank you for tuning in, and I hope to meet you very soon. If we’ve already met, I can’t wait to see you again. Until next time.
